GROW Clinical Psychology has provided all our clients Bulk-Billing psychology services for 10 years (2014-2024). However, effective 01/07/2024 a new fee schedule was implemented and we have moved to being a low cost clinic. This has been set to a $60 out-of-pocket fee with a Medicare referral.

To minimise the impact of this change on our clients, a few of our psychologists continue to offer Bulk-Billing for eligible individuals (i.e., those with a valid pension card). However, these therapists understandably have longer waitlists.  

Like any business, we must ensure our practice remains financially sustainable to continue serving our community effectively. By adjusting our schedule we better align everything with the cost associated with providing quality care, maintaining our facilities and compensating a dedicated team of professionals.

Please Note:

• Psychiatry consultations have different fee structures depending on appointment type. Please call the clinic for further details. 

• Psychologists at GROW Clinical Psychology are registered as providers with Medicare Australia.

• All fees are paid on the day of the consultation (assessments can be paid in 3 instalments).You will need to pay the full amount of the consultation fee and we will be able to submit your claim immediately on your behalf. You should receive the rebate into your  Medicare nominated bank account. We ask that you bring your Medicare card and a debit card with you in order to process your claim.

• Those with a valid pension card may be Bulk-Billed with a Mental Health Care Plan (check for eligibility as only some of our psychologists offer this service and there are longer wait times).

• Medicare rebates only apply in the case of a valid Mental Health Care Plan & Referral (you are eligible for up to 10 rebates per calendar year).

• We do not do medico-legal or family court reports and do not do Workcover / TAC assessments or consultations.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice to rescheule or cancel an appointment without incuring a cancellation fee. This notification allows us to offer the allocated time to another client waiting on the waitlist. 

If an appintment is not cancelled or not attended then a cancellation fee will be charged (especially without an extenuating circumstance).
