GROW offers Autism, ADHD and Cognitive assessments for children and adults
Academic assessments evaluate an individual's skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic areas. These tests compare the individual's performance to age or grade-level expectations and can help identify specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia (specific reading difficulties), Dyscalculia (specific mathematical difficulties), and Dysgraphia (specific written expression difficulties).
We use the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Third Edition (WIAT-III), which is a standardised test. The assessment also includes administering a cognitive assessment (IQ test).
Comparing the results on both a congitive assesmsent and acheib]vment test provides information about the individual’s cognitive potential and if they are achieving academically in line with their potential.
Please note that If a cognitive assessment has been completed within the last two years and a report is available to our clinic that states the IQ Index Standard Scores, then just the achievement test will be administered. This means the cognitive testing part of the assessment will no be conducted. This will reduce the fee to $700.
